  12. •  Letter Learner is a working neural network, with tutorials.  
  13.    Even if you don't know what a neural network is, this program
  14.    is fun.

  16. •  Letter Learner was written in 1988, when HyperCard first came out.  
  17.    It was written under version 1.1, and menus weren't introduced into 
  18.    HyperCard until version 1.2 (or was it 2.0?).  If I was rewriting it 
  19.    today the interface would use menus and would, of course, be very 
  20.    different.  Still, the program holds up well.

  22. •  The stack contains a detailed bibliography of neural network resources.  
  23.    Unfortunately, these references have not been updated since
  24.    I first wrote the program.
